2021 Volunteer Appreciation

This organization could not exist if it were not for the contributions of so many volunteers around the United States.

2021 Volunteer Appreciation

The contributions of the MarineParents.com volunteers can be summed up with this message; this organization would not exist without them. Our volunteers have contributed endless hours answering emails, moderating the social media groups, researching information, moderating chats, hosting community relations events, and supporting the parents, spouses, family, and friends of our United States Marines. Their impact has been felt by thousands of Marine families around the world.

In 2020, some of the volunteer positions that we have had to be put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Warrior Support Team on both coasts were unable to serve dinners to wounded, injured, and ill service members. Community Relations volunteers were unable to host in-person events. Our hope is that 2021 will bring back these services and give everyone a chance to Connect & Share® again.

In 2020, our volunteers recorded just over 67,000 hours and over 10,000 hours so far in 2021. In addition to the Warrior Support Team and Community Relations volunteers, we also have Facebook volunteers that moderate our Facebook groups and help guide our members through their recruit/Marine's stage in the Marine Corps. We also have local volunteers who volunteer in the Marine Parents corporate office. These volunteers mainly help the store staff with folding shirts, putting together poolee kits, and organizing inventory.

We want to say THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers! Volunteers are the backbone of any non-profit organization, especially Marine Parents. Your dedication to this organization does not go unnoticed and makes it possible for us to provide support to so many Marine Corps families.

God Bless and Semper Family!
