Spiritual health can be very important to some Marines while they are deployed. Even while in a combat zone, a Marine could have access to religious services, if they choose to take advantage of it. This will differ depending on the base where the Marine is stationed. For example, in Afghanistan Marines have access to religious services on Camp Leatherneck. However, smaller forwarding operating bases (FOB), or command outposts (COP) will have a more difficult time attending a formal religious service. This will depend on the resources for each base that Marines occupy.
