Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC)

About Deployment Readiness Coordinators (DRC)

The Marine Corps has recently made a change to the Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program (UPFRP), changing the title Family Readiness Officer (FRO) to Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC). The DRC is the direct link to Marines and their family members. The DRC is the go to for communication, resources and referral information, readiness and deployment support, and volunteer management. It is the goal of the DRC to ensure that Marines and their families are well informed and self sufficient so that readiness at home translates to mission readiness for the Marine.
