Danielle has been married to her high school sweetheart for 27 years. They have two children. Their son is a Marine Rifleman, and their daughter is a high school senior. Her Marine enlisted during his senior year of high school and participated in the local Delayed Enlistment Program. From a very young age, her son dreamed of becoming a Marine, and she couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments. He married his high school sweetheart in September of 2023.Her daughter attends a private Christian School and plays volleyball and basketball. Danielle's husband is her basketball coach and coached her son as well. Her daughter also has a 4.0 GPA and has completed a few college credits during her junior year. She has plans to pursue a career in the culinary arts after high school. Danielle's husband is a self-employed cabinet maker with a shop at their residence. He also assists his parents with farming tasks and serves as a deacon in his church. Her father was a Vietnam Army Veteran, her paternal grandfather was in the Army, and her maternal grandfather was a Marine. She spends her time sanding in the cabinet shop, working as a Certified Personal Trainer/Nutrition Coach, volunteering at the local Pregnancy Resource Center, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys time in her kitchen, visiting and feeding the ones she loves.

Danielle believes that helping others is effective therapy. While on this Marine Parent journey, she experienced many emotions and questions, but she always took comfort when someone a little further along in the journey offered some helpful insight. She would like to pay that forward and provide the same kind of support and encouragement to parents who are in the earlier stages of their journey.
