Celeste is a Marine Mom who resides in California and works in advertising. She has four adult children (3 boys, 1 girl) and one grandchild. Celeste’s youngest son finished the Crucible and became a Marine on the same day her granddaughter from her oldest son was born. Her Marine graduated India Company, MCRD San Diego, and is working diligently to obtain his goal of Military Police, Military Working Dog Handler so that he may not only serve his country but one day serve and protect the community in which he grew up.
Although she was extremely involved in her children’s numerous activities including football, wrestling, and cheer, Celeste states she did not know how to support her son during his journey to become a United States Marine. Celeste expressed that she was grateful to have located and joined a marineparents.com Facebook group just in time for the boot camp roller coaster ride! She volunteered for a position stating, “Volunteering is the only way to truly thank the volunteer’s that guided me, showed me understanding, gave me strength, and taught me how to be the Marine Mom my son needs me to be.”
