Jennifer and her husband, Josh, reside in Ohio. They have been together since 2012 and were married in 2015. Together, they are proud parents of two children. Their daughter graduated in 2023 with an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently employed with the United States Postal Service. Their son graduated from MCRD Parris Island, fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a United States Marine.
When her son left for boot camp, Jennifer found herself with many unanswered questions about the journey he was beginning. In search of guidance and understanding, she came across MarineParents.com, a support community that provided valuable insight and reassurance. Through the site, she learned about the phases of boot camp and the history of the Marine Corps, finding comfort in having many of her concerns addressed. This is why Jennifer wanted to become a volunteer for MarineParents.com. She knew the struggles of the unknown and found comfort in knowing that there were so many volunteers available who could answer her questions and provide guidance. Her own experience inspired her to give back — to help ease the worries of other parents by offering the same compassion and support she once received.
Now that her son is a Marine and has moved on to the next stage of his service, Jennifer continues to learn and stay connected through MarineParents.com. Her experience has inspired her to support other parents as they begin their own journey with their children in the Marine Corps, offering encouragement and understanding along the way.
