Volunteering Since 2025-10-02
Lineeka is proud to have been born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and now calls the Southeastern United States home, where she raised her four children—three sons and a daughter, a fraternal twin to one of the boys. Her daughter graduated from Boot Camp at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina in October 2025, completed Marine Combat Training in North Carolina, and is now stationed and building a career in the United States Marine Corps. Military service has long been part of Lineeka’s family, with Army roots she reflects on with pride. All of Lineeka’s children graduated from the same high school, and she has been actively involved in their journeys every step of the way. Her family, friends, and community are her life’s work. She volunteers regularly, serves as an Executive Board member for a nonprofit focused on domestic violence, and is a devoted servant of the Lord.
Lineeka joined MarineParents as a volunteer after her daughter completed recruit training. She experienced firsthand the support, organized guidance, and daily encouragement provided by MarineParents volunteers, which made a potentially challenging time much easier. Inspired to give back, Lineeka now dedicates her time to helping other families navigate the Marine journey. Her warmth, compassion, and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds make her a valuable member of the MarineParents volunteer team.
