Heather Cashman

Heather and her husband live in a small town on the Western Slope in Colorado. Heather is a Human Resource Manager for the United States Space Force, and her husband, Jason, is a pilot for Southwest Airlines. Both Heather and Jason are retired United States Air Force Officers. Jason is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, which causes some fun rivalry between Jason and their Marine. Heather enjoys hiking, backpacking, hunting, baking, and traveling around the country with her husband. Their daughter is in civilian flight training in Florida, and their son is a United States Marine. Their Marine graduated from Mike Company at MCRD San Diego in 2025 and is currently going through training.

Heather found Marine Parents during their Marine’s time in boot camp. Having a military career, she knew what to expect, but being a parent versus going through military training was a whole other experience for her. As a parent, she sought any information and support from fellow parents and volunteers she could. She joined as a volunteer to support other parents in the same situation.
