U.S. Marine recruits with Echo Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, undergo an 8 kilometer conditioning hike on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. Conditioning hikes increase stamina and confidence in carrying a combat load over distance.
