Unit Information
The Landing Support Battalion provides the command, control, administration, and operational personnel required to form a nucleus for task organized support of landing support operations during either surface or helicopter amphibious and subsequent operations ashore.
4th LSB is comprised of: H&S Co (Fort Lewis, WA), Landing Support Equipment Co (Vienna, OH), 1st Beach and Terminal Operations Co. A (San Jose, CA), Det. 1, Beach and Terminal Operations Co. A (Camp Lejeune, NC), 3rd LSM Plt., 1st Beach and Terminal Operations Co. A (Concord, CA), 2nd Beach and Terminal Operations Co. B (Savannah, GA), 2nd LSM Plt., 1st and 2nd Beach and Terminal Operations Companies (Camp Lejeune, NC), 3rd LSM Plt., 2nd Beach and Terminal Operations Co (Fort Buchanan, PR), Landing Support Co. A (Fort Lewis, WA), Landing Support Co. B (Rein.) (Lathrop, CA) and Landing Support Co. C (Rein.) (Charleston, SC).

Family Readiness Information
The primary source of unit/battalion information for spouses AND parents is the Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) and Unit Hotline. The DRC will work with FR Assistants, FR Advisors and FR Volunteers along with the senior command members to make up the new Family Readiness Command Team.
Note: The DRC was formerly known as FRO and in some instances, the USMC Family Readiness Page has not been updated to reflect DRC rather than FRO.
