MPTA Helps Marine Father, Jason, Attend Graduation

On Friday, November 15, 2024, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Jason, the Father of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from Mike Company to become a Marine.
I am a single father of 4 kids, with two still in grade school and my oldest joining the Marines in August. The timing wasn’t good for me to be able to pay for the airline tickets, let alone car rental and, most of all, hotel stay to be able to go to Family Day and graduation. This travel grant allowed my new Marine son to be the reason I overcame my fears of flying and heights and got on my first flight to see him finish his path to becoming a new Marine. I am so proud of him that I am crying. I am humbled to be given this assistance. Thank You, Marine Parents! Jason, New Marine Dad
