MPTA Helps Marine Mother, Charae, Attend Graduation
Thank you Marine Parents Travel Assistance!
On Friday, October 25, 2024, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Charae, the Mother of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from India Company to become a Marine.
We are very grateful for the Marine Parents Travel Assistance Program supporters! I’m also thankful for the volunteers behind the scenes who made this happen. I’m a full-time nursing student, and my husband serves in our community, helping those in recovery. It has been challenging these days, but we were able to attend our son’s family day and graduation! We’re so proud of him and his accomplishments. This was an honor and amazing opportunity to be a part of a special day I’ll never forget. As a bonus, we were able to reunite with family that had come together from all over the country to share this moment. Again, thank you so much for this program! We were able to slow down, take a deep breath, enjoy, and celebrate our Marines's accolades! Charae, New Marine Mom
