MPTA Helps Marine Mother, Christina, Attend Graduation
Thank you Marine Parents Travel Assistance!
On Friday, October 4, 2024, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Christina, the Mother of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from Lima Company to become a Marine.
First of all, I could not believe how much more pride I was capable of in my son until I watched him during the moto run and graduate as a Marine! I was sure all the pride was already there, but it grew, along with getting a tiny glimpse into what they went through and accomplished (DIs yell at you a lot on base, LOL!). I would not have gotten this experience if it weren't for Marine Parents Travel Assistance! I was the only one who could make the trip to these events. Without MPTA, he would have been alone on these momentous days that he worked so hard towards. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Christina, New Marine Mom
