Paula is the mother to one son, who always dreamt of becoming a United States Marine and serving his country. He stepped onto the yellow footprints on Parris Island on July 31, 2022, and is currently at Camp Geiger in the ITB Program which he will graduate on April 20, 2023. Paula is from Maine She has been with Jasper Wyman & Son for the last 31 years, in the position of Inventory Accounting Manager. When not working, she enjoys time spent with her family, scrapbooking, other crafts, and gardening. She loves spending time with her horse, cat, and a new member of the family Buddy, the great black lab, which has been a great source of comfort since her son joined the Corps.
Paula joined Marine Parents as a volunteer to give back to an organization and community that has been a primary source of support from boot camp until the present. The information provided by the volunteers was a source of comfort in understanding the different stages and processes. The newfound family of the groups has provided support and strength, as we are all on this journey together. Paula looks forward to continuing to build relationships and help support families on this shared adventure.
