Group Guide Lima Company (San Diego)
Marine Parent and Volunteer
Recruit Parents Facebook Groups Volunteer,
Total Volunteer Hours 1st & 2nd Quarter of 2018: 356.33! Nicole is a Proud Texas Mom of a Marine. She currently serves as a Group Guide in Lima Co. hoping she can offer as much encouragement and support as she received when her son was a Lima Recruit. She also serves as Group Guide in Texas and Camp Pendleton, and loves offering support and much needed laughter at times during this Marine Corps journey.
Nicole is a widowed mom of 5. She works full time as an Ophthalmic Technician in a small private practice. She has been a volunteer in her children’s soccer league and in Children’s Ministry for over 20 years.
Nicole lost her husband, her Marine's father while he was completing the Crucible. The outpouring of love and support she received from the volunteers and fellow recruit parents was uplifting, encouraging, and inspiring. She now wants to give back and be that kind of support to other parents. She has a never-ending supply of “OORAH” attitude that comes from the PRIDE she feels for her son and all of the recruits and Marines!
