Group Guide Bravo Company (San Diego)
Total Volunteer Hours 1st & 2nd Quarter of 2018: 42.9! Quisha serves as Platoon Parent with Bravo Company, San Diego.
Quisha was a Marine wife from 2000 to 2008. She has already experienced Marine life from the perspective of a wife. She has endured her then husband's many deployments including those to Iraq and Afghanistan.
She has three sons, two of whom were born on Marine Corps base Camp Pendleton. She lives in Utah and is a junior in college working on her bachelor's degree. Her oldest son has said he wanted to be a Marine since the time he was 3 years old as he watched his daddy come home in cammies each day. Never did he change his mind even after his dad got out of the Marines. Her son was part of Bravo Company's cycle and graduated Sept 22,2017. Her second oldest son is also stating he wants to become a Marine..
Quisha was introduced to Marine parents by her sons Recruiter. She joined the Poolee page and Immediately she felt connected, reaching out to other parents who needed encouragement. Since she had been through this all before, it was easy for her to comfort parents new to this. Two Marine parent volunteers reached out to her because they felt she would be a great platoon parent. She jumped at the chance to volunteer. Through this, she felt like she'd be even more connected to her son and the Marine family. She is so excited to be part of the Marine family once again and is happy to help you all through this journey
