Unit Information
Headquarters and Service Battalion will provice Combat Logistics Support in the areas of Administration, Automated Data Processing, Communications, food Service, Personnel Retrieval and Processing, Military Police, and CBRN, to 4th Marine Logistics Group and Combat Logistics Elements in support of Marine Air Ground Task Forces and other missions as directed.
HQSVCBN is a reserve battalion under the command of the 4th Marine Logistics Group. It is comprised of: H&S Co (Marietta, GA), Communications Co. (Greensboro, NC), Det. 1, Comm Co (Peru, IN), Det. 2, Comm Co (Allentown, PA), Military Police Co A (Lexington, KY), Military Police Co B (North Versailles, PA), Military Police Co C (Dayton, OH), Personnel Retrieval and Processing Co (Washington, DC) and Det. Personnel Retrieval and Processing Co (Smyrna, GA).

Family Readiness Information
The primary source of unit/battalion information for spouses AND parents is the Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) and Unit Hotline. The DRC will work with FR Assistants, FR Advisors and FR Volunteers along with the senior command members to make up the new Family Readiness Command Team.
