On Friday, April 25, 2025, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Christine, Mother of a recruit, to Parris Island for the recruit's graduation from Golf Company to become a Marine.
We are deeply grateful for your generosity, which made it possible for us to attend our son’s boot camp graduation. Your support allowed us to be there for one of the most profound moments of his journey, witnessing his transformation into a United States Marine. It was especially meaningful for my Marine veteran husband to watch his son follow in his footsteps and take on this honorable role. We were truly overwhelmed by the pride and excitement that filled the air as we witnessed this remarkable milestone. Being able to connect with our son and see the place he has called home for the past three months was invaluable. Attending the family briefings also provided us with a wealth of insight into what lies ahead in his journey.
