MPTA Helps Marine Mother, Valerie, Attend Graduation

On Friday, September 20, 2024, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Valerie, the Mother of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from Fox Company to become a Marine.
Thank you to MarineParents for your generous donation to me and my family. It’s genuinely appreciated. As a single mom and sole provider for my son, I didn’t want to miss his big day, but due to a car accident, I lost a considerable portion of my income. I never missed a school event or award assembly and attended all his ROTC and football games. I didn’t want to miss graduation for the career he wanted since he was a kid. Thank you guys so much. I could peacefully be there and cheer him on. Thank you, Marine parents, for helping me be there on my son’s most significant day of his life. Valerie, New Marine Mom
