MPTA Helps Marine Mom, Kristine, Attend Graduation
Thank you, Marine Parents Travel Assistance!
On Friday, October 17, 2025, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Kristine, Mother of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from Bravo Company to become a Marine.
The experience was amazing; it was the most emotional thing I've ever felt with my son, in the honor he showed, and how proud he was of what he did and becoming a Marine. I've seen my son do so many amazing things, from always staying on the honor roll to being in MCJROTC and becoming Sargent Major of the program. Still, nothing compares to the emotional feelings of the hug at family day after not seeing him for 13 weeks. I'm so very proud and honored to be a Marine mom. He's more responsible, has a better idea that budgeting is essential, and is just overall amazing. I appreciate the help. My other son is graduating from the army in 3 weeks, and having two sons serving our country is an indescribable feeling. Proud proud proud. Having a Marine son is such an honor. Kristine, New Marine Mom
