Christmas: a Season of Good Wishes, Joy, and Hope

Holiday Wishes

Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. Whether you are part of a Christian faith or not, the season has come to be a time of good wishes, joy, and hope. These are three things we can all do with more of for the upcoming year.

The year 2020 has been unique, challenging for many, and one unlike any of us will ever see again in our lifetimes; hopefully. The year has been challenging for MarineParents.com, too. We've held on and look forward to providing direct support to Marines around the country for the year 2021. We appreciate your ongoing support and commitment to supporting our troops and the organization that supports you.

On this holiday, let us keep the good wishes for our Marines serving around the world, joy for those who can be with family, and hope for a peaceful new year. Whether you can be with your Marine or Veteran on this day, we extend good wishes, joy, and hope to you and your families.

On behalf of our volunteers, staff, and Board of Directors, Merry Christmas.

It is an honor and a privilege to support those who serve, and your unwavering support is the reason Marine Parents has been able to do so for the past 18 years. We look forward to seeing what 2021 has in store for our outreach programs and services.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Our Outreach Programs

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for some of the work you helped us accomplish with our outreach programs this year.

Gold Star Legacy™

Gold Star Legacy strives to provide support, information, and services to Gold Star family members, to help promote events, memorials, and foundations in memory of their loved ones, and to encourage the public to honor and remember our fallen heroes. This year helped by providing materials for remembrance at funerals and promoting Gold Star family causes and memorials. GoldStarLegacy.com

Warrior Support Team™

Our Warrior Support Team strives to provide resources and fellowship to wounded, ill, and injured troops and veterans, including those living with post-traumatic stress, as well as to provide resources and support to family members. Our volunteers served meals to injured troops and their families prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to starting again in 2021. We also distributed the "Warrior Reintegration Bag" which provides books and resources to veterans as they reintegrate into civilian life. WarriorSupportTeam.com

The Luminary Initiative™

The Luminary Initiative promotes awareness of Gold Star Family Day and urges organizations and individuals in communities throughout the United States to light luminaries at dusk on the last Sunday of each September in honor of our fallen heroes. We are humbled to announce that over 4,000 individuals participated in luminary lighting events representing all 50 states in 2020. LuminaryInitiative.com
