MARINE CORPS ASSOCIATION & FOUNDATION
100 Years of Service
Updated September 2, 2018
Marines formed the MCA in 1913 before the Corps had recruit depots, tin hats, tanks and dive bombers. The nation had barely 10,000 Marines. It was a time when field-hatted Marines sailed in large Navy ships, shot well, marched often and landed in small boats to skirmish in strange places.
MarineParents.com has partnered with the MCA&F since 2006 both in reciprocal linking and membership drives, as well as sponsorship of their annual award dinners.

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE MARINE CORPS
A Monument to Honor, Courage & Commitment
Updated September 2, 2018
From Lin Ezell, Museum Director: "The Museum already tells more than 200 years of the Corps' rich history, but we're certainly not finished yet. In cooperation with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, we have completed construction and design on an additional 115,000 square feet where we'll tell more of this amazing story."
In the first year of operation as an organization, MarineParents.com actively solicited donations to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation to help finance the National Museum of the Marine Corps. General Christmas, from the museum, was our keynote speaker during our 2007 Conference in St. Louis, MO and we toured the museum the following year at our conference in Washington, DC.
