Jill is a retired Police Officer with two kids. She spent 30 years helping people through
various stages of life and is now able to relax and focus on her daughter, who made her a
grandma just over a year ago, and is about to add grandbaby #2, and her Marine, who is at
his PDS at Camp Pendleton.
Jill learned about MarineParents.com when her son joined the Marine Corps and his
recruiter gave her the training Matrix, which had the link to MP. During his boot camp
journey, Jill was given all the information she could possibly need to follow her son's journey
to becoming a Marine. She found the volunteers helpful, courteous, and always willing to
answer any questions she or other members of her group had.
Jill felt called to volunteer so she could pay it forward to future families going through the
same process, which also allows her to continue following her calling to help people, but
this time, it will be in all the stages of having a family member in the United States Marine
Corps.
