Marine Parent and Volunteer

Tina has been a Platoon Parent since 2017, offering support and encouragement to family members and loved ones. She says she feels more connected to her marine through her volunteer efforts.

Tina is married with 6 children, ranging in age from 20 years to 5 months. Tina’s son, who is the second oldest, has wanted to be a Marine since he was three years old. That desire never waned so after a year of college, he finally took the plunge and enlisted. He’s always been a natural leader with a passion to help people, so the Marines were a perfect fit for him.

Tina decided to volunteer for MarineParents.com after she experienced the support and camaraderie that comes from this outstanding family of volunteers. The answers to any questions were only a few clicks away thanks to the volunteers’ efforts. She is excited to help other families and loved ones navigate this new season of life and hopefully make some lifelong friendships in the process.
